يهدف البحث إلى إبراز روايات ابن جرير الطبري التى استشهد بها ابن رجب الحنبلي في تفسيره المسمى بروائع التفسير نقلا عن ابن جرير الطبري، في تفسير سورة الفاتحة، والبقرة، وآل عمران، مع تخريجها ودراستها، کما يهدف أيضا إلى الجمع في دراسة الروايات بين السند والمتن على الرغم من أن ابن رجب لم يعنى بذکر السند غالبا، ويهتم البحث کذلک بالحکم على هذه الروايات وبيان درجتها سندا ومتنا. وقد توصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج منها: أولاً: أن ابن رجب کان يکتفي بعزو الروايات إلى ابن جرير دون أن يذکرها بأسانيدها إليه في الغالب. ثانياً: لما کان ابن رجب من العلماء البارزين في الصنعة الحديثية فإنه غالبا ما يبين درجة الروايات التي استشهد بها في تفسيره. ثالثاً: تنوع الروايات التي نقلها ابن رجب عن ابن جرير ما بين أقوال للسلف، وأسباب للنزول، وأحاديث موقوفة وأخرى مرفوعة. رابعاً: لم تکن الروايات المروية عن ابن جرير على درجة واحدة من الصحة بل اشتملت على الصحيح والضعيف، بل والموضوع أحيانا.
 
The research aims to highlight the narrations of Ibn Jarir al-Tabari cited by Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali in his interpretation of the so-called masterpieces of interpretation, quoting from Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, in the interpretation of Surat Al-Fatihah, Al-Baqarah, and Al-Imran, with its graduation and study. Although Ibn Rajab did not mean to mention the chain of transmission most of the time, the research is also concerned with judging these narrations and showing their degree of chain of transmission and matna. The research reached several results, including: First: that Ibn Rajab was satisfied with attributing the narrations to Ibn Jarir without mentioning them with their chains of transmission to him in most cases. Second: Since Ibn Rajab was one of the eminent scholars in the modern profession, he often shows the degree of narrations he cited in his interpretation. Third: The variety of narrations transmitted by Ibn Rajab on the authority of Ibn Jarir, between sayings of the predecessors, reasons for revelation, and suspended and other marfoo’ hadiths. Fourth: The narrations narrated on the authority of Ibn Jarir were not at the same level of authenticity, but rather included the correct and weak, and sometimes even fabricated
