هذه الدِّراسَة اتجهت صوب تبيان مَقاصِد البلاغة العربيَّة الرَّئيسة ، وقد وقفت عند مقاصِد خمسة، وذلك على النَّحْو الآتِي :
المقصِد الأوَّل والأهمّ : الوُقوف عَلَى مَراتِب النَّظم العَالي سبيلا إلى إدراك الإعجاز البياني لنَظم كِتاب ربِّنا ـ عزَّ وجلَّ ـ وسنَّة رسولنا الكريم صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم .
المقصد الثاني : تناسُب البيان الفَصيح لمُقْتضاه .
المقصد الثالث : تربية الذَّوق وتنمية الملَكات .
ذلك لأنَّ فنُون البلاغة إحدى الآليات التي تُعين كل مبين علَى التعبير الأنسب عمَّا يختلج النَّفس والفؤاد سَواء أكان المُعبَّر عنه مسْموعا أم مقْروءا .
المقصد الرابع : إصابة مواقع الاقتناع من عقل المخاطب .
المقصد الخامس : تحقيق الإمتاع النَّفسيّ والتأثير العاطفيّ . 
والحاصل أنَّ : تحقيق البيان شعرا كان أو نثرا لمقاصده المرجوة أمارة واضحة على بلوغه حدّ التمام ؛ لأنَّ ميزان البيان التَّام الذي به تقاس قوة الكلام أوضَعْفا هو مقدار ما يُحقّقه مِن مقاصِده وغاياته .  
 
This study was directed towards clarifying the main objectives of Arabic rhetoric, and it focused on five objectives, as follows:The first and most important goal: to stand on the levels of the higher order is a way to realize the rhetorical miracle of the systematization of the Book of our Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, and the Sunnah of our Noble Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.The second objective: The eloquent statement fits what is required.The third objective: Raising taste and developing faculties.This is because the arts of rhetoric is one of the mechanisms that help each manifest to express the most appropriate expression of what stirs the soul and the heart, whether it is expressed by listening or reading.Fourth objective: Injuring the sites of conviction from the addressee's mind.The fifth objective: achieving psychological enjoyment and emotional impact.To sum up: the realization of the statement in poetry or prose for its desired purposes is a clear indication that it has reached the limit of completeness. Because the scale of the complete statement by which the strength of speech is measured and weaker is the amount of what it achieves of its purposes and objectives.
